Introduction to Our Website

Formed over 100 years ago the National Mouse Club encourages the breeding and exhibiting of fancy mice, publishes the rules and standards by which mice are judged and gives support to shows throughout the country.

Whether you are a complete newcomer to the hobby or an experienced fancier, we hope the website will have something to offer. Please look through our pages at your leisure and find out more about our fascinating and enjoyable hobby.

The exhibition fancy mouse is quite different from the white mouse kept as schoolboy's pets, and the history of some lines can be traced back many generations. The competition is friendly and a bond exists between mouse fanciers to make it quite unlike any other fancy.
